We are a baby bank charity, providing new and excellent quality preloved items and equipment to children from birth to 16 years old who are experiencing poverty and hardship throughout Tyne and Wear and County Durham.  Our vision is for no child to be without the essential items and equipment they need to be safe, happy and to thrive

Amelia's Story

Amelia is the inspiration behind our charity which has been set up in her memory.  Amelia was born in Sunderland in January 2018 and tragically passed away minutes after her birth.  Her parents founded Love, Amelia in her honour with the aim of supporting other children in her community.  They want all children to be given the best start in life and to be safe, happy and have the opportunity to thrive.

Responding to the needs of our community is at the heart of what we do.  Everything we do at Love, Amelia is designed to support families and ensure children have the essential items needed to be safe, happy and to thrive.

Testimonials

“I can’t put in to words how grateful I am for the things you have given me. I never thought I would need to come to a charity for help but this year I have been desperate. Everything was so beautiful I couldn’t believe it was all for me. The pram was absolutely beautiful I feel so proud when I’m out with the bairn. You’re are a godsend and I want to give back to help families like you helped me”
